America’s unknown presidential candidate, Gary Johnson, says lower or eliminate the federal law that prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from drinking alcohol.
It should –as is the case at least 90% of the time –be left to the states to decide.
One of the most pathetic things about the 2008 campaign was the free pass that most of the media gave Barack Obama on Jeremiah Wright.
While everybody was talking about Katie Couric asking Sarah Palin what magazines she read, nobody was pressing Obama on Wright.
He said he never heard any of those nasty things that Wright said, even though he had sought out Wright’s church when he went to Chicago, sat in a pew there for 20 years and used a line from one of Wright’s sermon’s for the title of his book.
It was important because it was one more example of Obama’s radicalism that was dismissed by most of the media.

Now watch the media ignore this and spend the next six months questioning Mitt Romney’s strange religion.

Further examination of the Obama’s campaign’s Tumblr site over the past month reveals very few black individuals—apart from the president and his wife, Michelle—in the pictures posted in the feed.
One of the only featured pictures to include a black individual is one from a recent White House visit by Star Trek actress Nichelle Nichols.”
I’ll bet if you asked, he’d blame it on George W. Bush.
I have decided to stop doing this blog before the end of April.
Two years ago, I started a website for the purpose of selling a book. Then I decided to try a blog.
The response was unbelievable.
I now have 30,000 visitors per month including 6,000 new visitors.
I think it could grow more but I’ve been advised by my friend who does internet marketing that I should move to social media.
I had considered trying to make this a subscriber only blog, but I just can’t presume that people who have been joining in here for free the last two years would be willing to pay $25 or $30 a year to continue
I’ll still be posting here for a while, and looking for your responses, and I want to invite you to join me on Facebook and Twitter where I will be expecting lots of people to continue to trash me for my brilliant insights and observations into and about sports, politics and anything else that pops into my head.
I enjoy the debate. I hope we can keep it up.

I worked in television for 30 years and believe me when I tell you that, if you are universally considered the biggest asshole in TV history, you are a flaming asshole with flames as long as the Parkway West.
Keith Olberman just wasn’t happy in his $10 million a year job at Current TV and he was fired.
And who did Al Gore, the head of the network and a guy who could have been president of the United States, hire to replace him?
One of the biggest assholes ever to work in government –Elliot Spitzer.
Count me as glad that Al never became president if this is any indication of his judgement.
Geraldo Rivera and I have something in common.
We were both trashed all over the internet for commenting on a victim’s choice of clothing.
I got it for questioning Bryan Stow’s decision to wear a Giants jersey to Dodgers Stadium, where there had been many incidents of violence.
I was accused of saying that Stow deserved the beating he took and/or that he was asking for it.
Geraldo suggested that black kids who don’t want to be pre-judged should think twice about wearing hoodies like the one Trayvon Martin was wearing when he was killed.
And he’s finding out that America has a reading and listening comprehension problem.
Leave it to Thomas Sowell to sort it out.

The hysteria over alleged man made global warming will turn out to be the biggest hoax in human history.
And it can’t be blamed on the internal combustion engine.
