The stadium issue for Villanova needs to be worked out before the Big East allows them to compete in football. I’m not sure playing in PPL Stadium (home of the MLS’s Philadelphia Union) is a solid idea. It’s small and too far from campus. I think ‘Nova needs a better plan in order to be permitted to play in the Big East.
You are right on the button. There are 2 schools voting against Villanova on their entrance to the Big East. That stadium is in the Chester area. They need to upgrade their on campus facility if at all possible.
Man, the Big East as a footbal conference (even with any potential additions) is pathetic. Great basketball conference but the football conference is slightly ahead of the MAC.
When TCU comes in Arnie, it will change for the better
True. But that’s like saying the most recent girl to check in at the fat farm only weighs 195 which brought the average down to 205 – so while it’s true and all it’s still not a pretty picture.
