He has lots of long pass plays but not many from really long passes. He's probably the best in the league at the intermediate throws.

When the Steelers won Super Bowl XL, they were the league leader in yards per attempt, which has become the most important offensive statistic. Ben doesn't have a problem thowing deep...he has a problem staying upright long enough to throw deep.

You're on file. I don't rule it out. But I think Roethlisberger's biggest weakness is his ability to throw long. Off the field stupidity aside, I wouldn't take any other QB in the league over him but that's a weakness.

Prediction: Mike "60 Minutes" Wallace leads all receivers in the division in catches of 20 yeards or more.

Well said, Roissy.
I like the fact that the Steelers are flying way under the radar. I hope nobody gives them a chance, especially those soccer-friendly people at ESPN.
Speaking of ESPN, you'd think they could've taken a break from LeBron and Brett long enough to have merely mentioned the shocking death of Kay Cowher. Unbelievable.

On paper, even with a past his prime Owens, this offensive passing attack looks very intimidating. However, as they say “that is why you play the games”. 3 head cases that are used to being the #1 guy in their respective systems. Owens has a history of starting internal trouble if he isn’t getting a lot of looks. Ochocinco disappears in big games, especially against the Steelers. Bryant might be the wild card in that he is the lesser of the 3 evils and could have a good season.

If these 3, especially Owens and Ochocinco, can check their egos and play for a common goal-getting to the playoffs and a Super Bowl, they could be a threat. However, I don’t see that happening. I see at least 1-2 blow ups and Palmer has never really impressed me, even after his 2005 season, arguably his best year.

The Steelers don’t play Cincinnati until November 8---a lot of time for things to transpire on their end.
