Just about every day there is a story in the news that screams at us all to start starving the beast.
The Democrats don’t have a monopoly on being reckless with other people’s (our) money.
That’s why we should all be for whoever wants to tax us the least and spend the least.
The idiots in Washington can’t spend money they don’t have.
Oh, wait. Yes they can.
Never mind.
President Obama went to Harvard and he’s smarter than the rest of us.
He’s definitely smarter than those people who talk funny like George W. Bush, Sarah Palin and Rick Perry.
On Thursday he referred to America as the country that “Built the intercontinental railroad.”
Mark Steyn put it best:
“I’m kind of relieved “the Intercontinental Railroad” is just another Obama gaffe as opposed to the latest shovel-ready stimulus project. An Intercontinental Railroad built by retrained Navy corpsemen to ferry passengers from all 57 states from Washington to Vienna with conductors who can speak both English and the Austrian language while the President of Canada rides in the club-car having given up his corporate jet is just the kind of audacity of change people were voting for.”
It was the fifth time that Obama has made that reference, by the way. That would never happen to Palin or Bush, of course. The media would have made sure that they were aware of the gaffe by making fun of them at every opportunity after the first one.
And people wonder why this guy uses a teleprompter to hail a taxi.
Barack Obama was hatched from the most corrupt local government in American history.
This is the kind of story I like to keep in mind when I hear politicians say that we’re not taxed enough.
Remember Hope and Change?
Remember how Obama was “transformational?”
Apparently he’s just another Chicago political hack. And that’s according to people who should know.
Let’s see if the media spend as much time talking about President Obama’s treatment of women as they have spent and will spend on whether Sarah Palin had sex with an NBA player 30 years ago.
In a special election last night, the Democrats lost a House seat that they had held since 1923.
They were also blown out in an election in Nevada.
And they’re even jumping ship in California.
Obama is toast and Democrats are starting to realize it. How long before we start hearing pleas for Hillary Clinton to challenge him?
I’d say that Bill has probably been whispering in her ear, but I doubt that she allows him to get close enough for that.
Not that he would want to.
