My brother Bill may have caught the great John Steinbeck in a white lie. He’s following Steinbeck’s 1960 trip across the country that turned into the American classic, “Travels With Charley.”

Here’s my brother Bill’s latest installment of “Travels Without Charley”. He’s following the route that John Steinbeck was on 50 years ago today. It was the inspiration for his American classic, “Travels With Charley.”
My brother Bill, who is following the route taken by “Travels With Charley” author John Steinbeck 50 years ago, was last spotted in Maine.
I’m not the only person in my family with a book idea. My brother Bill is embarking on a jorney across the country and back next week. He’ll be following the route that John Steinbeck took 50 years ago on his way to writing “Travels With Charley.”
