OBAMA SHUNS ANTI-COMMUNIST, WELCOMES SOCIALIST

Lech Walesa  is one of the great greatest heroes of the 20th century.

He played a major role in causing the fall of the Soviet Union.

He’s not welcome at the White House.  Too political.

And people wonder why Obama is suspected of being a socialist.

  • Chuck

Why is this not a surprise?????????

  • Mike V

Turning away Walesa is like turning away Mandela because he would be too political as well. Obama has zero good judgement.

  • Tim

According to the Wall Street Journal, this Lech Walesa wouldn’t meet Obama when he visited Poland last year. I wouldn’t welcome him now either. If you refuse to meet the President when he visits your country you don’t get the honor of coming to the White House. Good for Obama to make the Poles send someone else to accept Karski’s award.

      Too bad Marx is dead.

      • Tim

Lame comeback John. Go on thinking Obama is a radical. Doesn’t make it true.

        • John Steigerwald

I consider him a radical leftist and radical leftists can’t show their radicalism publicly because they would never get elected. He said he wanted to “fundamentally change the United States of America.” I don’t know how you can say that’s not radical.

          • Tim

Ya because radical leftists enact universal health care reform and invest in solar energy companies. Like Mitt Romney has done.

He fundamentally changed our foreign policy. Instead of engaging in endless expensive wars he has conducted pointed strikes designed to achieve maximum benefit. When campaigning he was the only one who said he would strike terrorists in Pakistan whether they liked it or not and has followed through.

I’m all for killing them and give him credit. Maybe you can explain how a guy who is horrified by the idea of pouring water on a guy’s face and making him THINK he’s going to die is OK with blowing up four or five people riding in a car.

          • Tim

He’s not horrified by it, just regards it as illegal We prosecuted and hung Japanese for doing the same to our troops. Terrorists in a truck are fair game because they are on the battlefield.

          • John Steigerwald

No. They’re driving down the street and innocent people in the car are also killed. That’s OK but pouring water on someone’s face is barbaric.

          • Tim

Not barbaric. Illegal. Collateral damage has always been part of war.

          • John Steigerwald

I agree. But it makes no sense to oppose weatherboarding and to be OK with death.
