My rant, but not video, because I’m camera shy as my family can tell you I even avoid the home video camera, is on this new liberal theme of regulating sugar.
The best I can figure they want your Aunt’s cookies which I assume probably contained sugar to be off limits.
As my son said if we don’t get rid of Michelle and other liberals in a few years all the candy bars will be behind a glass case and you’ll have to be 21 to buy a candy bar and even then the government will track you and limit you to 3 candy bars a month. He was joking, but as liberals seem to want to stick their nose in everything we do, I myself don’t want to give them the majority to risk it.

Great Rant. Kerry is the one that gets me the most. The docking of that yacht in a neighboring state to avoid paying his own state’s income tax should have been enough to keep him from re-election but that is the same state that kept putting ‘Sink or Swim’ Teddy in office.”

How is this any different than Mitt Romney’s tax-evading offshore bank accounts or Rick Santorum keeping a token home in PA while living in a Virginia mansion??? Fair is fair.

I’m all for legally evading the income tax. Everyone should do it. There should be no income tax. This is n’t about taxes, anyway. It’s about guys who run around the country getting credit (and votes) for being compassionate and accusing people of being greedy when they don’t cough up a dime of their own money.

      Here’s how its different Dan.
In Romney’s taxes, it showed that he and his wife gave millions, got that millions to charities. He wants there to be less taxes on individuals.

John, I married into ketchup, Kerry gave pennies to charities, got that, pennies. And he wants to tax me more so that my money can go to pay for people who vote for him.
At the same time, this man who is one of the richest men in Congress, docks his yacht in a neighboring state to avoid paying taxes that benefits his own constituency. He then cries that the Repbulican’s have no heart.
If Romney gave pennies to charities, I’d say the same about him.
I’m not familiar with Santorum, can’t comment. He’s a bit too religious right winged for my taste.

(Remember Obama’s plead to pass Obama-care for Teddy…)

I just filled out my taxes and the amount I pay is obscene. I hate watching floppy ears cut the military yet do nothing to address entitlements.
This is the last year that declaring your state and local taxes as a tax expenditure will be in effect unless the law changes.
Let’s see what floppy does on this. The democrats couldn’t wait to demagogue and borrow money from China to give out more extensions of jobless benefits. Let’s see how we feel about forcing working Americans to pay federal taxes on money they have to use to pay state and local taxes.

Just y opinion, but typing a few sentences takes less than a minute. Taping the same thing, posting it on youtube, as well as making sure you don’t stumble over your words like an intern doing the local weather takes more time. Just a matter of convenience to skip the video reply.

I hear you. I’ll continue to do them and the invitation still stands.

  • Matt

I have a face for blogging not youtube. I tried to record a video comment, but the camera broke.

A friend of mine told me I look like Oliver Wendell Holmes. That obviously didn’t stop me. Maybe be it’s the old TV guy in me. I think it would be interesting to get a video thread going with video bloggers exchanging “pleasantries.”

  • IsraelP

That would mean putting a shirt on.

I’m willing to make an effort to read your blog, but let’s not exaggerate here.
